Responsibilities:
Participate in pursuit development meetings, including Go-No-go, kick-offs, and strategy development/updates
Analyze RFQ/Ps and evaluate scope requirements for additional opportunities for teaming and upselling
Proofread and edit all aspects of submissions for compliance with RFQ/P requirements and M&M's brand guidelines
Coordinate independent QC review to ensure document meets department quality standards
Prepare proposal plan outline for writing assignments
Coordinate with teaming partners to obtain critical materials for pursuits
Assist with developing creative, compelling non-technical narratives
Prepare creative, strategic, high-quality submissions and presentations
Work collaboratively with technical professionals on all levels
Assist with a variety of business development and marketing tasks as needed, including:
proposal and opportunities development
agency pre-qualifications
client relationship management
project and employee management including industry research
Social media, newsletters, press releases, marketing, promotional support, trade shows, advertising etc.
Requirements:
Experience with coordinating and developing proposals as a prime consultant
Knowledge of proposal processes and procedures
Strong ability to take initiative and work independently.
Ability to manage concurrent assignments under strict deadlines
Basic understanding of bridge and transportation industry terminology and procedures
Knowledge and experience using Client Relations Management systems such as Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop
Experience with State DOT online proposals management systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or related area of study
Two (2) to seven (7) years of hands-on proposal experience for Engineering / Architectural / Construction or related firms preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams)
Overview:
The Modjeski and Masters (M&M) Business Development Department (BDD) is rapidly expanding and looking for a Proposal Coordinator with strong written and verbal communication skills to support transportation project pursuits across the U.S. and abroad. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will lead the proposal and presentation development process, which involves working with technical leaders and project managers to produce high-quality materials that meet internal and client deadlines. You'll be responsible for all aspects of proposal preparation including facilitating proposal kick-off meetings, strategizing win themes, coordinating assignments, gathering and editing proposal materials, formatting documents, and printing and/or compiling electronic materials for final submission. This position also requires maintenance of our CRM database including tracking leads and opportunities and updating general data.
