Description and Requirements

Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Manufacturing Design, Engineering & CAD, Animation/Media/Web Creation, Science/Medical, Oil & Gas, and Finance.

To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Graphics Solutions Engineer. Responsibilities include system level GPU engineering and integration, optimizing GPU performance, managing the monitor compatibility lab, BBO project management with ODMs, GPU testing/qualification, and bug tracking. Beyond the technical aspects of this role, your flexibility will be crucial when engaging and supporting the HW architecture team.

For this role you will be working with the HW development team and the HW Architecture TPM.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience with PC architecture and GPU
  • Experience with hardware development cycle
  • Experience with PC architecture, storage architecture, network architecture, and general I/O
  • Experience with OS and driver interaction and troubleshooting (Windows and Linux)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Working knowledge in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts and practices
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to independently review, implement, and execute test plans and interpret results
  • Equipment knowledge includes: DMM, Power Supplies, Scope, etc.
  • Results oriented in a fast-paced environment

  • Self driven and proactive
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Work with vendors

This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. To be considered, candidates need to be local to Raleigh or willing to relocate on their own.
