Project Manager

Job Description
Project Manager, Becton Dickinson and Company, Columbus, NE. Support the mold validation projects within the plant. Align customer needs, product specifications, and product functional expectations with manufacturing processes. Play an active role in gathering insights and feedback from customers to tailor projects accordingly. Act as a vital liaison between the manufacturing plant and relevant departments, including receiving business, R&D, and Unit Quality. Create and manage project timelines. Assist in root cause analysis to enhance overall efficiency. Prepare ECOs and CB2’s. Stay updates on the latest developments in manufacturing processes. Observe data trending and perform analysis to proactively work to anticipate problems before they impact production. Ensure compliance with the organization’s quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal and the organization’s safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any) or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

- Thermal Plastic & Liquid Silicone Injection Molding;
- Project management in the Engineering field;
- Gathering insights and customer feedback to tailor product specification;
- Developing project timelines and coordinating budget using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Supporting Continuous Improvement activities such as facilitating blitzes, 5S management, and the Kaizen (KAS) program to support the SQDC initiatives;
- Utilizing data analysis technologies, including SAP to anticipate production issues; and
- Liaising between manufacturing plant and other relevant departments, including R&D and Unit Quality.
