HR Manager
We are partnering with a privately-held manufacturing company in the Wake Forest area, looking for an HR Manager to join their team. This individual will prioritize and manage essential human resources functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering positive employee relations.

Responsibilities
  • Understand employee engagement metrics, drivers, and implications; develop actionable plans accordingly.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers across the organization.
  • Identify retention risks and implement proactive strategies to mitigate them, while coaching others on effective talent engagement and retention techniques.
  • Develop comprehensive talent acquisition plans that align with short and long-term business objectives.
  • Advocate for employee communication processes to ensure transparent, two-way communication between employees and management.
  • Lead people development initiatives, focusing on individual and team performance through effective coaching.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on human resource management policies, processes, and systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company HR policies, goals, and procedures, ensuring consistent communication and enforcement across the organization.
  • Ensure HR and business practices comply with legal requirements in employment and administration.
  • Recommend employee relations practices that foster positive employee relationships, morale, and motivation.
  • Counsel and support employees on issues related to personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in reviewing disciplinary actions to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of department goals, objectives, and operational systems.
  • Oversee annual employee performance assessments, facilitating calibration processes to ensure objectivity and consistency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • 3-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-directed with the capacity to work independently.
  • Mathematical aptitude necessary for HR analytics.
  • Initiative-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in computer applications and software.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
