A Project Manager at SET Environmental / WCEC is responsible to:
Provide leadership in all aspects of client projects including client development, client management, and management of projects
Support Senior Project Managers in project execution, client development, and corporate objectives
Participate in SET / WCEC’s Emergency Response program including on-call rotation
Meet your average billable goals and manage achievement of staff/team goals
Lead environmental project work including investigation, remediation, sample collection, data analysis, while working alongside and supporting other Project Managers and Senior Managers on multiple projects
Manage environmental permitting, investigation, and remediation tasks
Coordinates and delivers on-schedule and on-budget tasks
Coordinates and oversees the work of subcontractors
Develop junior staff, particularly in the areas of technical data collection, sample collection, site management, report preparation, and client relations through skills training and on the job experience
Conducts performance evaluations for applicable staff
Directs and performs fieldwork which may include soil sampling, groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, biological sampling, excavation oversight, operation and maintenance of remediation systems, and vapor intrusion/soil gas surveys
Writing and preparing environmental permits, technical reports, work plans, letters, and memorandums
Performs office work which can include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts
Performs report preparation, writing and review
Records and maintains detailed scientific field notes accurately
Adheres to SET / WCEC’s quality assurance/quality control procedures
Follows SET / WCEC’s health and safety policies, responsible for on-site safety
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
4-year degree, preferably in a technical field
10+ years of related industry experience
Leadership skills & Strong interpersonal skills
Basic Accounting skills
Advanced Problem-solving and Decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation & telephone) with all department levels
Organizational skills, Time management skills & Multiple task management skills
Advanced Computer skills

Must be flexible to changes in work schedule and be available for On-call
