Job Summary

Belden, a global leader in shaping the future of connectivity across industrial, enterprise and professional broadcast industries, is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Industrial Automation Solutions team for the Americas region.In this role, you'll play a key role in supporting our continued growth by providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations. You'll collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure accurate forecasting, analyze key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily sales and order data, consolidate reports, and generate insightful business reviews focusing on channel performance, margins, and expenses.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of backlog margins, pricing trends, and other financial metrics to inform senior management.
  • Develop and maintain processes that accurately describe performance, including monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting, and various reviews and analyses.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and other teams to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Build and manage financial models for revenue, costs, and operating expenses.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting processes that accurately predict future performance and motivate actions to ensure forecasts hit agreed upon targets.
  • Direct the process for monthly compilation and reporting of financial results, along with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure everyone receives the financial expertise they need.
  • Provide hands-on management of financial controls, measurements and systems, ensure SOX and GAAP compliance as well as support internal and external audits.
  • Support Targets to Improve (TTI) and KPI reporting, and providing accurate financial information for reviews.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to think strategically and clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Prior experience with Hyperion and BI tools is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
