Director, Project Management Office

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division. You will be mainly accountable for: *Collaboration with multiple departments *Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. *Managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. *Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. • Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience; Associate's degree with 10 years of experience; Technical/Vocational certificate with 18 years of experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of documented project management experience with Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) variable frequency drive in industrial applications is required.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously diverse needs and schedules.
• Prior work experience in a global company highly desired.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Project) and SalesForce required, prior experience with SAP desired.
• Able to lead without authority; facilitate meetings both in person and remote; high aptitude for problem solving; solid written and verbal English communication skills.
• Current PMP, CAPM or other ABB approved project management certification or willingness to obtain is highly desired.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
