The Academic Program Specialist functions as a member of the Pathology Education team. The team is responsible for all support related to medical student, graduate, undergraduate and resident educational endeavors. The successful candidate will report to the Department Administrator with oversight from the Vice Chair for Education. The primary responsibilities of the position are to manage undergraduate student services and courses, oversee medical student and other rotators, support and schedule our CME certified grand rounds and other seminars and assist with our Cellular and Molecular Pathology graduate program events including recruitment and orientation.

Strong computer skills particularly with databases, e-learning, word processing, PowerPoint and computerized student records.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to exercise initiative when necessary.
