The Technician follows prescribed safety procedures.

2. The Technician has ability to use pullcat / PPJ when necessary.

3. The Technician fixes units stopped and flagged by spinning operators.

4. The Technician fixes all units with Technical Alarms.

5. The Technician reports any issues found while on the shift.

6. The Technician follows glove policy, knife policy and LOTO policy.

7. The Technician visually verifies product for quality and conformity.

8. The Technician assists with maintenance if/when necessary.

9. The Technician leads the floor with top priorities being safety, quality, production.

10. Technician uses visual inspection to identify non-conforming products.

11. If the Technician identifies non-conforming material, he/she notifies production manager and/or Product Engineer.

12. The Technician follows daily responsibilities and cleaning sheet assigned by manager.

13. The Technician is responsible for finding and working on low efficiency units, fixing technical and mechanical issues that arise on the floor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: FREQUENCY, AMOUNT, OR DESCRIPTION

1) Standing: Ability to stand while operating machine 95% of day

2) Sitting: Ability to sit down for a meeting 5% of day

3) Climbing: Ability to step up on frames 10% of day

4) Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull/reach for material/can up to 45 lbs 20% of day

5) Bending: Ability to pick up objects from the floor/get under frames 20% of day

6) Visual Acuity: Ability to distinguish colors and details of objects 50% of day

7) Lifting: Ability to lift hoods/doors/cradles 50% of day

8) Walking: Ability to walk around the machines/floor 90% of day

9) Housekeeping Ability to maintain a clean and organize work area 10% of day
