Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch education. MHS is currently seeking a Deputy General Counsel (DGC) to act as the General Counsel's key delegate on legal matters of high importance. The DGC is responsible for overseeing, planning, organizing, and directing legal staff, as well as coordinating outside counsel work as it pertains to all high-level legal matters. This includes matters pertaining to MHS's subsidiary, Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS), and MHS's Board of Manager related issues. The DGC reports to the General Counsel and supervises 1 employee. The DGC also oversees other programs and investigations, and other duties as needed. The DGC has a wide scope of responsibilities including:

* Real Estate Acquisition
* Regulatory Compliance
* Chairs the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
* Strategic Initiatives
* General legal advisor
