The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals who are tasked to drive revenue and profitability for Hanger Clinic. Partnering with zone and regional leadership, this role will ensure that Hanger resources are accurately forecasting business and market needs, formulating and implementing sales strategies and achieving sales targets. Collaboration and people leadership are key attributes required for success in this role.

Your Impact
    Strategic planning, sales growth and problem resolution. Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
  • Partner with management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to Hanger Clinic patients and referral sources.
  • Work with the sales team to develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP Sales, Marketing and Operations.
  • Lead our regional sales leadership in the development of our sales strategy and holding teams accountable to achieving results
  • Accountable for results of the Business Development Managers (BDM's)
  • Conduct territory business reviews and performance reviews of direct staff
  • Lead calibration exercises
  • Manage spending within approved budgets
  • Report activities, strategies and regular updates to VP Sales
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing growth plans and managing people
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Additional Success Factors
  • Collaborate with zone and regional leadership around development and execution of growth plans
  • Be accountable to the organizational growth plans. Use of RSM and BDM assets should propel growth to increase our overall company performance.
  • Strategize opportunities outside of current coverage of BDM's and determine where expansion of team or other investment can contribute to growth
  • Ensure accountability is occurring where RSM and BDM's are not contributing to ensure we develop and implement plans to address
  • Align with VP of Sales (VP) to ensure VP is able to properly represent activities, successes and failures of team to senior leadership
  • Show leadership by demonstrating ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Assist sales team with account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Strategize with leadership team for contract opportunities and proposals to grow business.
  • Travel with regional sales managers, represent the sales team in development of marketing strategies, and attend trade shows/medical conferences as needed.

Pay range of $145,000.00 - $233,000.00 (salary range) + bonus+ commission+ benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
