Valiant Integrated Services is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Information System Technologist to join our professional team at Fort Stewart, GA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) on the Aerial Gunnery Range (AGR). ATMP brings to bear the full capabilities of many of the world's best systems integration and engineering companies in the technical integration of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support. ATMP operations support the installation and training mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Assist, as needed, in planning and scheduling work requirements and conducts or assists in briefings and tour of site to all senior officers, training units and civilian personnel, including foreign dignitaries on official business.
  • Conduct pre-event testing and evaluation to identify, locate, and resolve network failures and optimize performance.
  • Ensures associates follow program, company, and government policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate contract support and maintenance of audio-visual systems.
  • Maintains proficiency with applicable company products.
  • Maintain and file monthly reports on utilization, types of training conducted, number of soldiers trained, availability, and any issue or concerns from the customer.
  • Remain current on TADSS to provide train-the-trainer training and support in exercises.
  • Develop integration plans and performs hardware integrations and manages documentation schematics and modifications.
  • Maintain system at specified operational readiness rates.
  • May be required to support other devices and will be cross-trained, as needed.
  • Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in MIS.
  • Assist in maintaining Government and contractor property, tools and test equipment.
  • Perform inspections and accountability of property.
  • Conduct Security Audits, built-in tests, and system diagnostics
  • Administer, develop, run tests on, implement, and maintains network and related software.
  • Implement Security Updates
  • Configure network devices, communications devices, and peripheral equipment to operate within designated networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking problems
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Provide any developmental and safety training that associates need.
  • May be required to supervise, coordinate, and manage administrative, logistic, personnel and safety-related requirements.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain an active/valid US Secret security clearance.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
  • An associate's degree in computer science or it related field or 5+ years relevant professional work experience.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft, Linux or Solaris operating systems and networking
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
  • Previous WFF/ATMP experience desired but not required.
