Valiant Integrated Services is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Computer Based Training Instructor/Computer Based Training Specialist to join our professional team at Fort Moore (Benning), GA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP). ATMP brings to bear the full capabilities of many of the world's best systems integration and engineering companies in the technical integration of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support. ATMP operations support the installation and training mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.

Position is Full Time

Essential Job Duties:

  • Includes, but not limited to: Provides instruction support to the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), Mobile CCTT, Virtual Clearance Training Suite (VCTS) and/or Reconfigurable Vehicle Tactical Trainer (RVS/RVTT).
  • Verbally brief, instruct, and physically demonstrate use of the simulator systems to the customer base.
  • Use current tactical doctrine to organize computer generated forces, plan offensive or defensive operations as required, execute command and control for both manned simulators and computer-generated forces, their movement and maneuver, fire support, and other military aspects of a battle - to successfully achieve customer-based training objective.
  • Use specialized computer software and/or hardware to develop, integrate and edit instructional text, audio, graphics, animation, and video for interactive presentations.
  • Employ appropriate programming/branching logic and screen layout and remediation/feedback techniques.
  • Implement quality control, review and revision procedures throughout the courseware development process.
  • May be required to support other devices and will be cross-trained, as needed.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions and at height levels above the ground on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work-week.
  • Must have a valid state drivers' license and maintain on-post driving privileges.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation.
  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • This position may require travel to other ATMP locations in CONUS/OCONUS.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities):

  • Preferred: Graduate of either the US Army Combined Arms Staff Service School (CAS3), Officer or Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, which included instruction in tactical operation of platoons, companies/troops and their support units.
  • Prefer minimum of five years instructor/training experience.
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • CCTT and MCCTT: current/in-depth knowledge of Armor and Mechanized Infantry, Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS), digital/voice calls for fire, engagement area development, direct fire planning, indirect fire planning, and TTPs.
  • RVTT and RVS: current/in-depth knowledge of convoy operations, un-stabilized gunnery, convoy procedures, to include actions on contact, IEDs, digital/voice calls for fire, and TTPs.
  • VCTS: current/in-depth knowledge of convoy operations, un-stabilized gunnery, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) route clearance operations, Combat Engineer standards, digital/voice calls for fire, and TTPs.
