We have an opening for a Client Service Specialist I in our New York office.

The Client Service Specialist I performs administrative duties in support of their department. This role will offer an opportunity to work with the leading legal team servicing the digital asset and blockchain industry. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and capable of working independently. You should be detail-oriented and able to adapt to shifting client needs.

In this capacity, the Client Service Specialist I will:

  • Maintain a consistent physical presence required to facilitate an interactive and collaborative environment ensuring that assignments, cross-training, and peer level support are optimized to provide seamless support to the practice;
  • Support a team of attorneys and administrative professionals with daily tasks;
  • Provide administrative support that may include time entry, expense reimbursements, presentations, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements;
  • Manage multiple complex calendars;
  • Manage billing and track account receivable;
  • Handle incoming communications through email, phone calls, and texts;
  • Draft, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports as needed;
  • Facilitate communications between stakeholders internally and externally;
  • Conduct research and compile information regarding projects and initiatives;
  • Assist with planning and coordinating team events;
  • Liaise with internal resources to complete projects and tasks;
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files, arrange document reproduction, scan and save documents into document management system;
  • Perform data entry in various databases and applications; proofread and edit entries as appropriate;
  • Work overtime as required; and
  • Handle additional related projects as assigned.

Proficiencies:

  • Must be detail-oriented;
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proficient in handling highly sensitive and confidential communications;
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail and organization;
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without direct supervision;
  • Advanced proficiency in rules of English grammar, spelling and punctuation;
  • Fundamental proficiency with Firm billing systems and practices;
  • Fundamental proficiency in MS Word, and document editing/comparison applications;
  • Fundamental proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications;
  • Fundamental proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications;
  • Fundamental proficiency in MS PowerPoint and presentation applications; and
  • Fundamental proficiency in the operation of office equipment, such as copiers, scanners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred); Associate's Degree (preferred); and
  • At least 1+ years' experience supporting attorneys or C-level executives.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $61,600 and a maximum of $77,100 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
