The Role:

The Operations Efficiency Technician will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day effectiveness of a specific Value Stream by following the Standard Work for the position. The completion of this standard work will maximize the productivity and quality of that specific Value Stream through the support of each technician, process and/or work cell.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform daily pre-production walk through the assigned Value Stream that includes verifying that assembly kits are available and complete for each process, verifying inventory of floor stock is not gating production, assisting in the routing, closure, and completion of work orders.
  • Create "Build Books" of the systems prior to their assembly (as applicable).
  • Printing all drawings related to Project, verify redlines on drawings, report/document issues and work with Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
  • Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work as a team.

What We Seek:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. AS degree desirable or extended learning courses.
  • 3+yrs in high-capacity manufacturing environment.
  • MRP OS experience.
  • Previous warehousing experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, data input, MS Operating Platform.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily.
  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Astute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
  • Self-starter able to work as part of a team and independently.
