Position Purpose
The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral role supporting the recruiting and onboarding functions within the Advancement team. This position contributes to the team's overall success by providing high-level customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the recruiting and onboarding processes. By interacting with cross-functional teams, the Recruiting Coordinator supports a team-based structure to enhance recruitment and onboarding efforts.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
* Four years of experience in office administration, coordination, or customer service setting.
* Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills; excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service ethic and ability to exercise sound judgment while interacting with internal and external constituents.
* Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
* Flexible and proactive; able to anticipate; self-motivated; ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects and deadlines as well as respond appropriately to changes in priorities and schedules.
* Ability to function independently with minimal oversight.
* Strong computer skills and experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience using relational databases and spreadsheets.
* Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to problem solve.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
* Tact, diplomacy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Accountabilities

Description
Assists in providing administrative support services related to management of human resources in the functional areas of staff recruitment, onboarding, training and development, staff communications, policies and office procedures, and related activities. Ensures a great candidate interview and onboarding experience, presenting a professional and positive image throughout the recruiting process. Proactive in communications with all clients and team members. Supports the new hire onboarding and offboarding process. Develops advertising copy to support recruitment efforts; places and monitors advertising. Prepares materials and correspondence for interviews and partners with the Assistant Vice President and Associate Director in all phases of the hiring process to enable departments to recruit and retain quality staff. Works with search firms to communicate decisions and coordinate candidate scheduling. Briefs search managers running the search on changes in schedules and priorities, especially on matters needing personal or immediate attention. Serves as secondary point of contact for searches when the Assistant Vice President and Associate Director are unavailable, requiring in-depth knowledge of search process and status of applicants. Represents the department to internal clients and external applicants; communicates respectfully with a diverse community.
