The FFE Specialist will be the main point of contact for Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment activities relating to McKesson Real Estate USON Delivery projects. FFE includes Furniture, Equipment, Art/Branding & Signage. This role is integrated into the MRE USON delivery team and will work side-by-side with the Project Manager and Design Manger to execute delivery of projects. The candidate should have a strong design and furniture knowledgebase, including experience in the procurement of FFE.

This individual will support Delivery's project execution by leveraging their expertise to guide the decision-making process as an FFE expert and overall delivery of FFE for projects. Must be able to manage multiple projects and vendors in an organized and consistent manner.

FFE Project Management:

  • Reviews furniture & equipment plans, specifications, and quotations to ensure FFE items are accounted for and accurate to the design intent and project needs
  • Coordinates meetings to make FFE selections and provides guidance on FFE selections to meet project requirements
  • Validate project's FFE selections meet established design standards, and guides appropriate FFE selections to meet the project needs, budget and timeline
  • Works closely with the Design Manager to ensure all FFE selections meet code and overall functionality and aesthetics of the project
  • Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure all budget and timeline milestones are met and assist with coordination of installation, punch and closeout of all FFE items.
  • Responsible for FFE project activities from the planning/schematic phase through project closeout
  • Supports PM with FFE budget costs & identifies preferred vendors and/or determines if bid required based on project requirements
  • Keeps Project Manager and Design Manager informed of progress and any schedule or budget concerns during final documentation and ordering phases.
  • Obtains all required FFE closeout documentation and provides digital copies to end-user and saves in accordance with all MRE project close-out procedures

FFE Vendor Management:

  • Manages FFE vendors to meet the established project budget & timelines
  • Coordinates with FFE vendor(s) to establish project schedule and milestones for procurement and informs vendors of budget
  • Coordinates with external Architect/Designer to refine furniture layouts and attends project design reviews for selections of all FFE elements
  • If a bid for FFE is required, coordinate with internal Sourcing & Procurement team, and prepare for bid and validate design by Architect/Designer will meet established project budget and timeline
  • Reviews FFE proposals and plans for accuracy and coordination with other FFE vendors. Ensures no duplication between Furniture and Equipment vendor in collaboration with Architect/Designer
  • Manages FFE vendors throughout execution process from ordering, scheduling, delivery, installation, punch list, tracking punch list items and closeout, coordinates efforts with Project Manager
  • Coordinates punch walkthrough(s) with vendors, Architect/Design, Project Manager, and end-user - ensures all noted items are completed/corrected in an appropriate timeframe

FFE Standards:

  • Supports Design Management and leadership with the maintenance and development of FFE standards.
  • Supports Design Management and leadership with support regarding MSAs and direct manufacturer agreements leveraging volumes and standards for FFE efforts.

Technology & Data Analytics:

  • Responsible to provide FFE planning updates in IWMS (ManagePath) as well as all related documentation through the FFE design planning process
  • Accountable to maintain the McKesson FFE As-Built (inclusive of shop drawings, submittals, etc.,) library in line with all drawing guidelines

Education/Training -

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BArch) required from 4-year College or University or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Registration in Interior Design preferred.
  • Knowledge of Auto Cad or Blue Beam highly preferred

Business Experience -

  • Requires four (4) or more years of related FFE management / FFE design experience and/or training.
  • Experience in Healthcare design and/or FFE management HIGHLY preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel - up to 25% domestic

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$79,900 - $133,100
