Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a TES Inpatient Vet Assistant to work in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER) section of our Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital. The individual in this position will work directly with board-certified emergency and critical care veterinarians and rotating intern doctors to help facilitate qualify care and patient flow through the IMC, ICU, and ER. This position is primarily for overnights or second shift. The scheduled hours for this position can be flexible based on the selected candidate's availability with the potential option to work 8, 10, or 13 hour shifts based on preference. Preferred hours can be discussed during interview. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a veterinary hospital/clinic environment. |

Salary Range | Minimum of $14.50/hour + shift differentials |

Work Hours | Primarily overnights (between the hours of 7:00p.m. - 8:00a.m.) OR second shift (between the hours of 1:00p.m.- 2:00a.m.) with possibility of rotating shifts. Scheduled hours and shift lengths are flexible based on candidate's preference. |
