Job Summary |
The Division of Risk Management and Safety has an opening for an Environmental Protection Technician to support the AU Partnership with Fort Moore!This is an exciting opportunity to help support the Fort Moore environmental compliance program. The successful candidate will work alongside professionals in both Auburn University's Environmental Health and Safety Department and the Ft. Moore Department of Public Works to assist with Ft. Moore's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the eld of environmental health and safety while working with a dynamic team. This position will also perform spill response duties as part of the Fort Moore Spill Response Team. Why Should YOU Choose Auburn University?

Minimum Qualifications |
Level I- High school diploma or equivalent. Level II- High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of experience in managing environmental compliance programs such as hazardous waste, clean water, clean air, or storage tank management. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels, at a rate of one year of relevant education per year of required experience |
