Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Business Systems Audit Manager to join them. You will report to the Director of Quality and will have an on-site work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

The Business Systems Audit Manager will plan, establish, maintain, administer, and coordinate an internal auditing program to monitor conformance to Moog Business Systems as detailed in the company operating documents. This function includes reporting the effectiveness of Moog's business processes as measured through both internal and external audit activities. This position will include the supervision and training of the Business Systems Audit Personnel. The Business Systems Audit Manager will facilitate a periodic audit process council with other Moog auditing disciplines. This function will provide the point of contact for external customer assessments, audits and certifications of our documented business systems including any third-party registrations.

To be considered for Business Systems Audit Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in business or engineering discipline.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in business systems in contracts, program management, manufacturing, or quality.
  • 3 years of people leadership experience, including demonstrated success in team building and guiding performance.
  • Demonstrated auditing experience in AS9100 and/or ISO9100.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and coordination with internal and external customers on complex projects and issues.

As a Business Systems Audit Manager , you will:

  • Administer, manage and coordinate the activities of an internal audit system that provides effective assessment of company business systems.
  • Administer and manage the scope of external audit activities including the coordination for assuring satisfactory resolution for Moog and the audit agency.
  • Ensure the application of a process approach to the internal audit function that measures and improves customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.
  • Utilize external and internal audit results to facilitate business systems process improvements by working with responsible functional area managers.
  • Provide supervision, direction and training to Business Systems Audit Personnel.
  • Facilitate periodic Audit Process Council meetings to improve overall business processes.
  • Develop plan for auditor resources. Select, train, and maintain auditor competency. Provide direction as required.
  • Schedule and oversee an internal audit process. Coordinate efforts with external audit process.
  • Work closely with domestic and Baguio functional managers to assure effectiveness of audits and quality of corrective actions.
  • Report on status of external and internal audit activities including corrective actions to top management. Provide meaningful metrics to help improve efficiency in this area.
  • Act as a focal point/administrator for external certification(s) (ISO9001 / AS9100 / Nadcap, etc.).

Salary Range:

  • The base pay range for this opportunity is $112,000 - $154,500 per year.

Pay Disclaimer: The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
