The General Laborer CVC Auditor plays a critical role within the distribution center in ensuring that orders are processed and ship customer orders that meet customer requirements. This position requires an individual who is willing to transfer between jobs on an as needed basis.

Job Description

• Review order details to ensure that the correct items, quantities, and specifications match the customer's request.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before shipment.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
• Ensure that all orders comply with company policies, distribution standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Transfers between functions within the DC as directed by the supervisor on an as needed basis.
• Observes all safety and work guidelines.
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in inventory management or related experience preferred. Experience with auditing or quality control is a plus.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Moderate computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Occasional overhead reaching and lifting required.
• Must be able to stand/walk continuously.
• Must be able to carry up to 35 pounds consistently.

Typical Working Conditions

May work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
