Our client in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Dental Assistant to work on Fridays (ongoing) from 8 am - 5 pm. If you are looking for an extra day per week, this is a great opportunity!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist provider throughout exam including complex treatment, surgery, and all operatory-related care
• Review and update medical history.
• Assist provider with patient education.
• Take patient blood pressure, X-rays, and radiographs.
• Take impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed.
• Prepare and record clinical notes, charting, and patient records.
• Prepare operatory for patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory.
• Order dental supplies

Job Requirements

• Previous Dental Assistant experience and/or completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of state dental practice requirements, including X-ray proficiency and OSHA training strongly preferred
• Effective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members.
• Good customer service skills and ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
