Foxhole Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support a Government client. The analyst will be responsible for source monitoring activities, cyber threat analysis and mitigation courses of action, provide the actionable intelligence used in organizational IT Asset protection, strategic cyber threat trending and situational awareness of customer leadership.

The Cyber Security Analyst will provide the following expertise:

A deep understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attacker tactics (TTPs), and indicators of compromise (IOCs). This knowledge allows you to effectively analyze security data and identify potential threats.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices such as MITRE ATT&CK or NIST Cybersecurity Framework helps develop a comprehensive threat detection strategy.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools. These are the primary sources of data for threat analysis.
• Provide Data Analysis & Threat Hunting-Possess strong analytical skills to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in security data that might indicate potential threats.
• Proactively search for threats within the network even before they trigger alerts.
• Use threat modeling to simulate attacker behavior and predict future attacks.
• Possess a working knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., Diamond Model, Kill Chain) to structure and categorize threat data.
• Collect and analyze threat intelligence from various sources, including internal security data, external threat feeds, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
• Communicate complex threat findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to security teams and stakeholders.

• BS Degree
• Public Trust
• Professional certification in applicable field

Must be able to see, have eye/hand coordination, and lift up to 10 lbs. May be exposed to dust/dirt, humidity, and noise.
