Your Job

The Koch Cyber Security Team is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our global cyber security team. As a member of this team your primary duties will be to support Koch Cyber Security's Cloud Infrastructure, looking for improvement opportunities and ensuring that the infrastructure is available as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain cyber security CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Develop, and oversee scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Work closely with Cyber Security developers and engineers, understanding where improvements can be made in code lifecycle management.
  • Monitor and manage AWS cloud services (e.g. EC2, DynamoDB, ECS, ECR, IAM)
  • Oversee the ingestion and normalization of new data sources.
  • Support and update serverless infrastructure.
  • Help Maintain data availability and remediate any drop in data ingestion.
  • Partner with Security Architect for designing solutions for Cyber Security
  • Detect and remediate any drop in data ingestion.
  • Experiment with fail fast mentality.
  • Keeping up to date with current industry best practices for Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience supporting serverless infrastructure
  • Experience deploying Infrastructure in an AWS environment
  • Experience building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
  • Quality communication skills (Written, Verbal, Visual)
  • Experience with programming and programming languages
  • Experience working with Git
  • Linux Administration Experience

  • Experience with AI
  • Experience with Multiple Operating Systems
  • Knowledge with PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python Scripting
