Location: This role will start remote and then will be working out of Marshall, MS, with expectation to be on-Site once building construction and timing is established.
What You will Spark at Amplify:
Relocation Program Management: Implement, and manage comprehensive relocation policies, guidelines, and programs. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while aligning with company goals and budget constraints.
Employee Support: Coordinate employee transfers and relocations, including domestic and international assignments. Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the entire relocation process, including pre-move planning, logistics, immigration processes, housing, and other essential services. Assist with visa and work permit applications, renewals and compliance documentation in partnership with legal. Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to mobility and immigration.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with HR, legal, relocation service providers, moving companies, immigration consultants, real estate agents, and other vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive working relationships.
Policy Development: Continuously review and update relocation policies and procedures to adapt to changing business needs, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Communicate policy changes to employees and stakeholders, and provide training or assistance as needed.
Cost Management: Monitor and control relocation costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines. Analyze and report on relocation expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending strategies to optimize relocation spend.
Compliance and Risk Management: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and immigration requirements related to employee mobility. Work with legal and accounting to ensure compliance with tax laws, visa and work permit regulations, and other legal obligations. Mitigate risks associated with employee relocations and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Employee Support: Act as a primary point of contact for employees undergoing relocation. Provide guidance, support, and assistance throughout the relocation process, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of employee relocations, expenses, and related data. Utilize HRIS systems or other tools to generate reports on key metrics, such as relocation costs, employee satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up environment. With that additional duties may be assigned to meet the organizational goals and objectives including but not limited to benefits and HR administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of relocation policies, processes, and best practices
Familiarity with immigration regulations, tax implications, and work permit requirements related to employee mobility.
Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Proficiency in using HRIS systems or other tools for data management and reporting.
Additional HR experience is a plus to support HR department start up activities.
