As a Compensation and Benefits Administrator at Amplify Cell Technologies you will play a crucial role in shaping, implementing, and administering the organization's compensation and benefits programs.

Location: This role will start remote and then will be working out of Marshall, MS, with expectation to be on-Site once building construction and timing is established.

What You will Spark at Amplify:

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, leave policies, disability, and other health & welfare benefits. Administer the day-to-day benefits programs, including enrollment, claims processing, and communications in partnership with third party vendors.

  • Compensation: Conduct job evaluations and market research to establish and maintain competitive salary structures and pay scales. Collect and analyze compensation data, including salary surveys, to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Develop and administer salary structures, pay grades, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent. Review and update job descriptions to accurately reflect job responsibilities and requirements. Collaborate with HR and management to evaluate and recommend changes to compensation programs based on industry trends and best practices. Analyze compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues, and providing recommendations for adjustments. Participate in compensation-related projects and initiatives, such as annual salary reviews and bonus programs.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to manage relationships and resolve issues. Coordinate the implementation of new benefits plans or changes to existing plans. Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

  • Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing employee compensation and benefits to ensure compliance. Prepare and distribute required notices, reports, and disclosures in accordance with legal requirements.

  • Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for HR and leadership inquiries and concerns related to benefits & compensation. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing questions, resolving issues, and explaining compensation & benefits programs in a clear and concise manner.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee compensation & benefits records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Utilize HRIS systems or other tools to track and report on benefits utilization, costs, and trends. Generate reports for management or audit purposes.

  • Analysis: Assist in analyzing compensation & benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, or enhancements to the benefits offerings.
  • Policies & Compliance: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of benefits policies and procedures. Ensure policies align with legal requirements, industry best practices, and company guidelines.

  • Employee Communication: Communicate benefits & compensation information to stakeholders effectively. Develop and distribute compensation & benefits-related materials, such as recruitment materials, handbooks, brochures, and online resources. Conduct employee meetings or presentations to educate employees about available benefits options and answer their questions.

  • This is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up environment. With that additional duties may be assigned to meet the organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Five plus years proven experience as a Benefits / Compensation Administrator or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits plans, compensation plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, compensation laws and regulations.

  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, such as ERISA, ACA, FMLA, FLSA, EPA and COBRA

  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel or HRIS systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
