Fuss & O'Neill Manufacturing Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Professional to work as part of a team of EHS and manufacturing professionals. In this role you will work with clients to support their Health & Safety program and organizational needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and sustainment of client health and safety programs focused on relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and support the management of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry practices while supporting program sustainability.
  • Conduct risk assessments, exposure assessments, and compliance audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for their mitigation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters including but not limited to facility and site surveys, industrial hygiene investigations and air quality monitoring, development and facilitation of training and education.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into new projects, processes, and designs.
  • Stay current on emerging health and safety trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental engineering, or a related field
  • Typically requires at least 1 year of experience in a related field; advanced education or internship may be considered in lieu of experience
  • Pursuing professional certification such as ASP, CSP, or CHMM preferred
  • Completion of OSHA 500 and 501 programs a plus
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
