Job Summary:
Bucknell University invites nominations and applications for the position of Director of the Counseling & Student Development Center (CDSC). Reporting to the Associate Dean of Health and Wellness, the Director will be responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of the counseling center, providing strategic leadership, managing staff, developing programs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality counseling services to all students.

Established in 1846 as the University at Lewisburg, Bucknell is supported by over 1,200 full-time employees (roughly 400 faculty and nearly 900 staff) and has a dedicated network of more than 57,000 alumni. 3,846 undergraduates and 46 graduate students, representing most U.S. states and 57 countries, are enrolled across Bucknell's three colleges: the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Engineering and the Kenneth W. The Director of the CSDC is a critical member of the Health and Wellness team and plays a key leadership role in strengthening collaborations across the campus community through the coordination of services and activities
that support all Bucknell students. They will provide leadership and oversight of the clinical, educational, fiscal and administrative aspects of the Center. Overseeing an Associate Director, two administrative assistants and seven
other full-time professional staff, the Director will also contribute to the clinical efforts of the CSDC by providing direct clinical services, carrying a small caseload of student clients and ensuring timely documentation of services
in the Titanium Scheduling software utilized on campus. In addition, the Director will be a vibrant and active University community member, collaborating with University partners and student organizations to promote
awareness of mental health topics and resources; organizing and participating in outreach activities, workshops and other events to educate the University community about mental health issues and available resources; and
providing consultation to faculty, staff, students and families regarding student mental health concerns and ways to best access resources. Priorities of the next Director will be supporting, developing and augmenting the CSDC
staff; serving as a trustworthy voice for student health and wellness on campus; and collaboratively crafting a strategic plan and vision for the CSDC.

Minimum requirements for the role include: Master's degree in social work, counseling or clinical psychology or related field required (PhD/PsyD/Ed.D. in Clinical or Counseling, Psychology or a closely related field preferred).
For Master's degree candidates, five years post-licensure in social work or counseling or licensed-eligible in the state of Pennsylvania. For Psychologists, licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania or license-eligible to practice in Pennsylvania. All candidates must provide proof of credentials as part of the pre-hire process. Licensed-eligible candidates must secure licensure in PA within three months.

Also required is five or more years of experience in a mental health field, including at least three years of progressive management/administrative experience.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $130,000 - 150,000 with a strong benefits package, including tuition remission and generous paid time off.
