Job Description
Position is located at our client's offices in Downtown Columbus, with periodic travel to their offices in other markets

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement targeted growth strategies for practice groups and individual attorneys
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with firm-wide objectives
  • Oversee the creation of compelling pitches and proposals for new business opportunities
  • Analyze client feedback and market trends to enhance service offerings and relationships
  • Develop personalized marketing plans for attorneys to boost their professional profiles
  • Coordinate opportunities for thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry recognition
  • Updatemarketing materials, including attorney profiles and practice area descriptions
  • Ensure consistency and quality of firm messaging across all platforms
  • Monitor and report on legal industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Manage submission processes for legal directories and awards
  • Oversee the planning and execution of client events and sponsorships
  • Foster strong working relationships with attorneys and staff across all practice areas and offices
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated marketing and business development efforts
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years specializing in law firm marketing or business development; candidates with transferable skills and deep legal industry exposure are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of legal industry dynamics and business development best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools
  • InDesign and Photoshop experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
