Auburn University Risk Management and Safety seeks candidates for an Insurance and Risk Management Specialist position to provide direct support, assistance, and technical expertise toward the administration of Auburn University's commercial property and casualty insurance programs, self-insured programs, claims management, loss control, and loss prevention programs. Essential Functions |

Minimum Qualifications | Degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Business, Economics, Finance, Health and Safety, or a degree in any other related field Level I - Bachelor's degree Level II - Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in the administration of a risk management program and/or in the field of insurance. Level III - Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in the administration of a risk management program and/or in the field of insurance. Substitutions allowed for Education: 8 years of experience in the administration of a risk management program and/or in the field of insurance. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Graduate degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advanced levels, at a rate of one year of relevant education per year of required experience. Example: 2 years of education = 2 years of experience |
