Customer Master Data Capability Manager

As the Delivery Lead - Master Data this person will assist both the Master Data team and the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) in building the future of master data management processes for Ecolab. They will engage in key strategic projects and programs to improve consistency, ensure availability, and increase the confidence of quality for Ecolab's key data assets. This position reports into the Director IT - Master Data, EDO.

What you will do:

  • Act as the single point of contact for Customer Master Data activities and projects in a program manager capacity.
  • Work with our business stakeholders, product owners and downstream consumers to ensure the Master Data roadmap is aligned to their goals and objectives.
  • Ensure communication, change management and training is included in program and project delivery.
  • Interact regularly with the Business Leads/Capability Owners/Product Owner and IT leadership.
  • Lead and be accountable for outstanding technical execution and end-to-end delivery for Customer Master Data. Ensure project scope and requirements are right-sized and complete.
  • Build and maintain motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards successful capability delivery.
  • Build a culture of strong engagement, accountability and high performance across functions and delivery teams. Make sure cross team collaboration and communication focuses on what is most important.
  • Coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques.
  • Proactively manage dependencies, remove team obstacles, and propose creative solutions that optimize output and resource efficiency.

Able to facilitate the delivery flow of a team, managing the pace and tempo. Able to actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team.

Able to identify and challenge organizational processes of increasing complexity and those processes that are unnecessarily complicated. Able to add value and can coach the organization to inspect and adapt processes. Guides teams through the implementation of a new process.

Planning

Understands the environment and is able to prioritize the most important or highest value tasks. Able to use data to inform planning. Able to manage complex internal and external dependencies. Able to provide delivery confidence. Able to remove blockers or impediments that affect the plan and is able to develop a plan for difficult situations. Ensures teams plan appropriately for their own capacity.

Team dynamics and collaboration

Able to bring people together to form a motivated team. Able to empower delivery teams. Able to help create the right environment for a team to work in. Recognizes and deals with issues. Able to facilitate the best team makeup depending on the situation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • 3+ years of leading programs and/or projects
  • 1+ years of Agile Project Management experience
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing high performing teams
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication
  • Experience with Master Data Management
  • Experience in working with Global Teams
