Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Credentialing Supervisor/Manager, the Credentialing Specialist I is responsible for administrative duties required during the Credentialing and Re-credentialing processes for a managed care organization, adhering to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), State and Federal regulations. They review documentation and data enter specialized information into a centralized credentialing software platform and workflow management system for facility, ancillary, medical and behavioral health providers in a timely, efficient manner.

Minimum of 1 year of related experience in one or more of the following areas, managed care or medical staff office credentialing, medical office credentialing or general office work.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
