***This role will be predominately onsite based in our Mendota Heights, MN office

Role Summary

Reporting to the Department Manager this role will supervise the day-to-day operational activities for the Investment Plan Services Trade Specialists Team which consists of 10-12 nonexempt staff.

The selected candidate will supervise moderately complex issues as well as production initiatives and projects. This role is also responsible for supervising the ongoing processing efforts and ensuring clear expectations are set and the team is held accountable for their performance.

Responsibilities

  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction in coordination with relationship managers.
  • Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager.
  • Reviewing tracking and monitoring reports for items requiring action
  • Training staff
  • Employee Reviews
  • Time Card Approvals
  • May manage special projects
  • Provide input and adhere to operations budget
  • Typically does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operations experience
  • 2+ years of management experience in an operations environment

  • Financial services leadership experience
  • Proven ability to prioritize and delegate
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization including senior leadership
  • Expert operational understanding and experience in customer service/client support servicing initiatives and strategies

  • Strong change management skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Compensation

  • $68,000-70,000 per year
