POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will support the marketing team in all aspects of marketing and brand activities. This role will work with brand leaders to meet their communication needs for brand building, promotions, product launches, and B2C and B2B marketing campaigns. This position will be responsible for running marketing campaigns through various advertising channels for multiple brands across the organization.

CORE FUNCTIONS

* Assist with the annual marketing plan process from concept creation and timing of product releases that support marketing and branding strategy.

* Analyze marketing strategy performance to continuously improve marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.

* Track and report relevant KPI's to the Marketing Director.

* Participate in print creation and analysis. Work with sales to create custom versions of catalogs for customers.

* Research and remain aware of marketing trends and report findings to internal stakeholders.

* Lead company events including preparing vehicles for travel, attending events as a company representative, or organizing others to do the same.

* Collaborate with event holders regarding promotion of company brands. Negotiate sponsorship costs, marketing collateral and promotional items.

* Coordinate social media activities for responsible brands including finding new ways to attract customers. Design appealing content, engage audience members on relevant forums, and respond to end-user queries. Increase web traffic and customer engagement to align with broader marketing strategies.

* Participate in new product launches, including advertising roll out, public relations, and social media content.

* Collaborate with other marketing team functions to create engaging consumer content including email campaigns, social media content, advertising, and promotion materials.

* Work with other departments and brands to identify their marketing needs.

* Collaborate with email team to design and implement direct email marketing campaigns for promotions, newsletters, product launches, new application notifications, corporate announcements and more.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required.

* 2-3 years of work experience in marketing, preferably in the automotive industry.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

* Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital such as SEO/social media) and market research methods.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, marketing software and applications, and web analytics.

* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to effectively multitask.

* Excellent project management skills with an ability to work under tight deadlines.

Travel

* Occasional travel may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* This position is subject to sedentary work; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Physical Activities

* This position is subject to the following physical activities: talking, hearing, and the use of hands or wrists in repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity

* The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions

* This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
