We have an exciting Human Resources Specialist opportunity in our Holyoke, CO office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the human resources team. Assisting with employee communication, implementing and coordinating HR policies and programs, employment/staffing, onboarding, new hire orientation, compensation, and benefits administration

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works within established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Guide the interpretation and application of policies and procedures. Resolves questions/concerns of employees by providing information on processes and the related policies and referring to others where necessary for interpretation of the policy.
  • Manages all relevant human resource data and prepares applicable reports to analyze the business promptly as required by the business.
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Develop knowledge and capabilities by participating in formal and informal training and coaching. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading relevant media where applicable.
  • Manage and provide new employee/benefit orientation and assist employees with STD & FMLA as needed.
  • Assist operations with needs such as, but not limited to, processing invoices, expense reports, maintaining the office mail system, and assistance with phone and internet issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma required, and some college preferred with course work in human resources, business administration, or other related field.
  • Work experience in human resources, recruiting, business administration or other related field in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish, reading and writing.

Preferred:

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS) is preferred.

SCHEDULE

Expected hours are Mon-Fri, 1st shift.

COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. The starting compensation in Holyoke, CO for this role is $16-20/Hr.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the field.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is dependent on which environment you are in
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
