Position Requirements:
- BS degree in engineering or related science preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 6 years of professional experience in Fire Suppression and/or Fire Alarm design.
- General building construction knowledge.
- Assist in performing consulting and design services on a variety of projects, utilizing Fire Protection Engineering technical skills.
- Analysis of existing fire protection systems; design new fire protection systems, including fire suppression systems, fire alarms, and mass notification systems.
- Fire and life safety analysis of existing and new buildings; hazardous materials, fire-rated construction; code analysis.
- Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Able to work independently as well as in teams.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
- Familiar with Title 24 CA Building Standards Code and NFPA Standards.
- Visa sponsorship is available. Experience working in the US is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Federal, healthcare, and education project design experience is preferred.
- EIT Certification preferred.
- Fire and Life Safety code analysis and building survey experience preferred.
- Fire modeling, BESS analysis, or hazardous materials experience is preferred.
