Position Description

Partners with business liaisons to translate software requirements into technical specifications and partners with software developers and IT Testing Analysts to develop logical technical processes.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Partners with business liaisons and technical teams to understand and define system goals and technical system requirements

  2. Creates technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data modeling techniques (e.g. activity diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams)

  3. Partners with designers to build system functionality and quality attributes

  4. Build Reports and Dashboards with insights and alerts.

  5. Assist and support the Administrative tasks of in-house reporting tools.

  6. Create Diagnostic and Predictive Analytical reports.

  7. Manage the existing Production environment and enhance it to the Best standards.

  8. Builds and leverages automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time

  9. Participates in system and user acceptance testing efforts

  10. Builds standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines for business liaisons and software developers

  11. Understand system interdependencies and collaborate with project teams accordingly

  12. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements

  • Strong to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products

  • Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to analyze and build data KPIs

  • Expertise in any one Reporting / Visualization tool is a must preferably DOMO.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in ERP Data like SAP Data Model of both Master and Transactional.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong Analytical skills with both functional and Technical tool knowledge.

  • Proficient understanding of iterative software development methodologies

  • Proficient experience with Data modeling Techniques using several ERP, databases, and file system source data

  • Exposure to Data concepts like Profiling, Data lake house, CDC, and integration is required.

  • Experience in any Programming language like Python, R, etc.. with ML/AI is preferred.

  • Proven experience writing software requirement specifications and test specifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience
