Here's how aCraft Employee Coordinatorfor our Civil Infrastructureoffice contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of hourly craft employees
  • Administers HRPD programs and policies including the mentoring and professional development of high potential craft employees.
  • Track individual employee performance.
  • Track recruiting performance for craft employees.
  • Assists in the creation of craft training and implementation of training.
  • Processes hourly craft employee transfers between project sites.
  • Coordinates with project superintendents to evaluate manpower and workforce planning.
  • Participates in district HRPD
  • strategic planning process. Assists with development and execution of district-level projects/initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintains budget for assigned programs/initiatives.
  • Assists district HRPD manager with staff planning.
  • Assists with research and general administrative support pertaining to total rewards.
  • Assists with administration and
  • supports the succession planning process.
  • Provides administrative support for terminations.
  • Maintains and prepares scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed. Provides data analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Previous construction experience (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
  • Working towards an HR designation preferred.
  • 3 years of progressive human resources or related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HRPD-related principles, practices, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to research, analyze information and data, and make recommendations.
  • Basic business acumen and understanding of industry practices and new developments.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Good networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
  • Results-oriented and able to meet and drive deadlines.

The salary range for this position is between $61,700 and $92,500 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
