Job Description:
The Audit Manager will oversee designated audit areas, serving as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) and driving audit strategies for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include defining audit scopes, executing risk-based audits, evaluating control environments, drafting audit reports, and managing relationships with business partners. The role emphasizes creating an inclusive work environment and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in compliance and operational risk frameworks within the financial services industry.
• Plan, lead, and execute compliance and operational risk audits across the enterprise.
• Utilize deep knowledge of risk management frameworks and relevant regulations (e.g., Basel, Heightened Standards, SR 08-8) to conduct thorough audit reviews.
• Manage audit engagements, oversee audit staff, and provide constructive feedback.
• Design and implement audit procedures, including issue identification, evidence review, and process documentation.
• Leverage data and analytical tools throughout audit phases to enhance audit delivery.
• Communicate audit findings effectively to management through written reports and oral presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments, evaluating business activities and potential risk exposures.
• Manage integrated internal audit and assurance delivery, demonstrating effective influence and communication skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience focusing on compliance and operational risk management in financial services.
• At least 3 years of experience leading audits and acting as auditor-in-charge.
• Strong internal audit review, issue management, and risk management skills.
• Proficiency in audit planning, analytical thinking, and project management.
• Excellent relationship building, business acumen, and coaching abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with automation tools and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CRCM, or CFE.
