Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Semi Divisional Supply Chain team as Regional Procurement Manager. This is a newly created role within Edwards and will be responsible for developing the regional USA Supply Chain Strategy for our USA product companies - Ceres Technologies, Product Company Hillsboro and Product Company Genesee.

In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

To lead Supply Chain Strategy to fulfil each PC's Business Goals and fit best solution for USA Supply Chain

  • Design right Supply Chain strategy
  • Develop scorecard to monitor progress and success.
  • Facilitate the resources management across PCs to qualify suppliers, engage SESPA audit and
  • Identify and inform relevant stakeholders of dependencies as well as constraints and potential risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Management teams, as well as PC Procurement leaders outside USA

Develop Smart Agile, Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chain

  • Guarantee supply continuity through several manufacturing sites within same supplier, dual sourcing...
  • Foster local for local solutions
  • Think sustainability for both choice of materials, 2-tier supply as well as logistics optimization.
  • Leverage current Suppliers' portfolio and identify right synergies.
  • Own right PK development and CC7 improvements

Challenge Make vs Buy

  • Overcome bias of any predetermined solutions.
  • Benchmark costs and solutions in terms of Quality, Cost, Speed & Service
  • Recommend best options: Make vs. Buy/Drawing vs. Buy/Specification

To achieve in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Education level

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering or equivalent level in Education.

Relevant Previous experience

  • Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience preferably in global organization
  • Minimum 5 years Strategic & Global sourcing in manufacturing industry

Knowledge areas/Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels (management, technical, user)
  • Knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain processes
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in compressor or vacuum pump
  • Good knowledge and skill in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and smart manufacturing.

    • Functionally
      • PC Sourcing engineers
      • USA PC Procurement Managers
