In this position, you travel throughout the state to assist in conducting on site audits and assistance to agencies requesting accreditation of their network for access to CLEAN/CJIS systems while ensuring agency adherence to the CJIS Security Policy. Examples include firewalls, authentication, encryption, key management, disaster recovery, intrusion detection, virus protection, and Internet access study. You must maintain an extensive knowledge of the CLEAN/FBI CJIS security policies and procedures
You also serve as the alternate point of contact to the FBI CJIS Division ISO, in the absence or at the delegation of the PSP ISO or command staff. You assist in interpreting policy and response relative to security issues. In addition, you respond to a designated alternate or secondary location in response to a catastrophic incident when directed.
