Overview

Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Physician Recruitment Development Strategist will coordinate recruitment strategies to develop, align and manage an outreach plan to colleges of nursing and physician assistants, medical schools, residency and fellowship programs to support network growth. This team member will establish relationships with academic program coordinators, directors, medical directors, advanced practice providers and physicians to strategically develop early prospects. Provide and promote educational resources while building marketing and brand management strategies for OSF HealthCare and the communities we serve. Facilitate the recruitment process of new providers from interview through onboarding while being the local expert. Collaborates with leadership to identify opportunities for process redesign and institutionalizes best practice while driving continuous process improvement to enhance the physician and APP recruitment and onboarding experiences across the Ministry.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, Communications/Marketing or related field
  • Experience: 5 years' recruitment, staffing, human resources, sales, marketing and/or public relations experience

Other skills/knowledge:

  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal and follow-through skills, demonstrated ability to develop people, processes and systems to lead strategic initiatives and drive results
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and a diverse workload, while working independently and in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Master's Degree strongly preferred with a concentration in Business or Health Administration/Management, Health Planning or Health Policy
  • Experience: Working with Internet-based recruiting and applicant tracking systems

Other skills/knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of health care recruitment industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with physicians and business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to problem-solve and generate creative solutions to recruitment challenges
  • Strong customer-service focus and the ability to effectively influence internal and external customers
  • Active membership in the Association for Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR) and continued progression toward fellowship certification
