Job Description
The Business Process Design & Improvement Analyst I - Order to Cash, is an important position that supports the delivery of organizational process excellence. This position reports directly to the Manager, Business Process Design & Improvement, O2C within the O2C Continuous Process Improvement Team and serves as a partner by engaging with business stakeholders to anticipate business needs, develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process solutions. This person will collect and analyze process data to support business initiatives and their deployment.

This position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of centralized Cox Automotive Enterprise Finance and Accounting (EF&A) Order to Cash (O2C) process excellence. The Order to Cash scope includes Billing, Credit, Collections, Reimbursements, Cash Application and Reporting. This position will focus on process centralization, standardization, and optimization for Cox Automotive billing functions across policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls. This role will also support key strategic initiatives and will build a culture of continuous process improvement within the EF&A Order to Cash functions. This position will also help to meet Cox Automotive's strategic goals by developing plans, driving objectives, collaborating with business stakeholders, and aligning appropriate resources.

The ideal candidate will have continuous process improvement, change management, project management, governance, and communication experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of the O2C process excellence function
  • Provides Business Process Design & Improvement support within a defined organizational area or for assigned processes or process components.
  • Engages with functional / operational leaders to understand business systems, processes, objectives, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Establish & provide metrics for process measurement, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Designs process diagrams and evaluates current processes.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Helps support the project team by delivering consistent, timely deployment of changes, capturing risks, minimizing disruptions, and ensuring successful implementation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with generally 2 years of experience in related fields (i.e., business analysis, finance, accounting, process improvement, etc.). A non-degreed candidate will have 4+ years' experience.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
  • Must be comfortable working in situations that may be unfamiliar but can find solutions with support.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials, SAP, and other billing systems

  • Basic understanding of the implications of emerging technologies.
  • Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in continuously expanding their knowledge base.
  • Demonstrated ability to ask insightful questions, explore new ideas, and seek out innovative solutions is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, and shift priorities quickly as required and rapidly adapt to changing environments


USD 53,200.00 - 79,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $53,200.00 - $79,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
