Synchron has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to support NAVSEA PEO IWS. You will provide System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services for the Major Program Manager for Undersea Systems (IWS 5.0). The position is mainly administrative position, dealing with taking meeting minutes, data management, and File Transfers.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the program
Support technical training and advisory services efforts described below include meeting-related program management
Support development of reports of findings
May include supporting special studies of emerging related topics
Assist the program in providing advisory services for relevant program office technologies
Provide additional tasking as requested
Qualifications:
At least one year of professional experience supporting the U.S. Navy or other DOD component
Active Secret clearance
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Must have a good command of the English Language
Has working knowledge with the family of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
4 years or more of experience supporting the US Navy
Experience working with or for NAVSEASYSCOM
Work Location: Onsite position in the vicinity of Manassas, Washington Navy Yard and Alexandria areas 4 days per week. Routine meetings in the DMV at other work locations.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required
