Compliance Analyst

What you'll do:

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for auditing internal compliance reports and client documentation to determine the loan's eligibility for purchase on the secondary market by ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements including company and investor overlays. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to expand their knowledge and gain a new skill set for a different audit component.

What we are looking for:

* Review and troubleshoot of the Mavent report to ensure regulatory and agency requirements are met prior to loan purchase

* Communicate with internal/external clients on findings and providing solutions

* Adhoc review of key HMDA data points to ensure accurate reporting

* Provide feedback to key stakeholders

What you will need:

* 3+ years mortgage industry experience preferably originations and secondary markets, with 1yearof recent Compliance and/or Quality Control experience

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

* Demonstrate an understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry standards, specifically as it relates to Compliance and Quality Control

* Expert knowledge of HMDA reporting requirements
* Experience with loan oigination and credit documentation
* Experience with the Encompass system and Mavent Compliance Reports including but not limited to; TILA/RESPA/REGX/RegZ
* Basic knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, USDA, and VA guidelines
* Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to prioritize task and time management
* Ability towork independently with minimal oversight
* Clear and effective communication skills
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $36.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
