Position Overview:

The Project Manager IV is a critical function within the Supply Chain Team. This person is part of the Supply Chain Business Process and Transformation team and must understand and work within the established methodologies, policies, and procedures to successfully deliver complex projects in operations, distribution, fabrication, and manufacturing functions. This person will also manage projects and continuous improvement activities requiring extensive collaboration with leaders throughout the organization.

Your Impact

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Provide direction and leadership to all resources in the performance of project assignments and activities.
    • Determine project scope and guide development of detailed requirements, based on a thorough understanding of the business goals and objectives, as well as user needs.
    • Develop and monitor project budgets that include necessary capital expenditures, operational expenses, and labor requirements. Perform analyses and recommend allocation of program resources to promote efficient and effective usage and performance.
    • Build timelines and develop detailed project schedules, prepare meeting minutes/agendas, track all project action items to successful completion, and regularly report status of project to varying levels of stakeholders.
    • Identify project risks and lead identification and development of mitigation plans to minimize the impact of risks if they trigger.
    • Build and maintain a thorough RAID log throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure thorough planning of design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
    • Lead application of quality standards to all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, and documentation. Ensure project team members understand and apply quality practices in planning and execution of the project.
    • Build detailed dependency-based project schedules using MS Project.
    • Identify and coordinate solutions to complex problems considering resources, human and system capacity, and limitations.
    • Communicating with cross-functional teams, being the champion for supply chain projects.
    • Communicate effectively and work with business users, analysts, project leads, developers, and all levels of management across the enterprise in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years' related experience
  • Experience with one or more industry standard PPM tools.
