The Divisional Vice President of Sales is responsible for directing the planning, organization, and implementation of Recruiting, Sales, and Business Development activities for the Division. Formulates and executes objectives and budgets that are consistent with and supportive of the Company's annual business plan. Ensures that gross profit goals are met or exceeded and works to develop markets in new industries and geographies. The Divisional Vice President develops and executes sales plans and programs designed to increase sales, profits, and market share and minimize expenses. Ensures that professional business relations exist with customers, third parties, and other external contacts. They also direct, train, and evaluate associates.

Additional Details:

  • Assumes responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective Recruiting, Sales, and Business Development strategies and policies to achieve financial goals.

  • Oversees, in coordination with Senior Management, short and long-term strategic sales and marketing Planning. Updates and monitors the feasibility of strategic plans on an ongoing basis.

  • Researches and analyzes environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends.

  • Design strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensure that strategic plans complement marketplace needs.

  • Support and collaborate with the Sales Training and NEST Division Leaders by reinforcing sales training compliance and staff development.

  • Assure legal documents, such as contracts, are reviewed by legal and meet company standards.

  • Understand and communicate to clients and team the standard business terms and legal risks.

  • Able to consistently work under tight deadlines/goals, as well as expectations of a company leader.

  • Researches and recommends potential strategic alliances with third parties and other businesses.

  • Ensures that division objectives, goals, and policies are consistent with established Company-wide goals.

  • Serves on the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Assumes responsibility for overseeing the development of new revenue opportunities with third parties and other business alliances.

  • Leverages current alliances and customer relationships to expand business development opportunities at all levels further.

  • Ensures that current and future third-party contracts are expanded and developed to maximum potential.

  • Writes proposals and negotiates contract terms with third parties and ensures that all sales and business development interactions are professional, effective, and mutually beneficial to both the third party and the Company.

  • Understand the needs of the customer and ensure associates consistently meet/exceed their expectations.

  • Resolve Customer complaints, assist in closing, understand corporate risk across specialties, make recommendations.

  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Receive data/feedback from annual associate survey, assist in action plan creation and implementation.

  • Ensure division associates are being held to performance standards.

  • Guide directors on corrective action before executive leadership review.

  • Provide input into revisions and contract negotiation strategies. Understand when a business practice may conflict with applicable laws and seek guidance immediately.

  • Work closely with Vice President and Senior Leaders to determine associate expectations, with consistent performance management and fair accountability.

  • Positively impact new hire turnover by becoming a skilled interviewer and providing feedback to the Talent Acquisition team on candidate requirements and interview results.

  • Influence and inspire others to seek consistent improvement. Provide developmental feedback to individual contributors and leaders based on standards set by the organization.

  • Gains approval for proposed corrective action levels from HR, senior leaders for individual contributors, and front-line leaders.

  • Communicate and drive the company's mission and vision to the entire division.

  • Translate strategies into clear measurable objectives.

  • Ensure KPIs Are Relevant to Company Success Metrics and are being upheld within the division.
