Apogee is seeking a Warehouse Specialist located at US Coast Guard (USCG) Base Portsmouth, VA in support of LOGCOM-44 Mission Essential Personnel Equipment (MEPE) Product Line (PL).

What you'll be doing:

  • Verify materials against receiving documents
  • Note and report discrepancies and damage
  • Route materials to prescribed storage locations
  • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW-prescribed storage methods
  • Conduct inventories
  • Replenish pick areas as needed
  • Examine stored materials for deterioration and damage
  • Process requests and supply orders
  • Update inventory management system
  • Operating various warehouse vehicles and equipment including but not limited to forklifts and hand tools
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Manage reports, forms, and inventory electronically

What you'll need:

Minimum Experience:
Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Certifications: Forklift 5k
Education: High School Diploma
Years of experience: 4 years of experience in hands-on experience providing supply/warehouse support to DoD/DHS customers

    • Familiarity with verifying and receiving documents, and conducting inventory electronically
    • Experience storing, stacking, or palletizing materials using IAW-prescribed storage methods, operating forklifts and hand tools

High School (required)
Bachelors (preferred)

Experience
4 years: Managing materiel in the warehouse Updating inventory management system Conducting inventories and inspections Can they lift 50 lbs and handle manual tasks? Do they reliable transportation to and from work site? Can they handle the warehouse environment (Warehouse does not have air conditioning) Warehouse Operations- -Shipping & receiving -Inspecting and documenting, inventories -Clear written and verbal communication ,esp with CTR teammates (required)
