Overview

TRC is seeking an experienced Director to lead transit, airport, and port client engagements. This position will be based out of TRC's Boston office and require regular (but not daily) on-site work at various Boston and Greater Boston area client sites. Eligible candidates will be a hands-on, highly skilled program management professional with strong technical skills that are client-focused and can lead and deliver integrated energy solutions to enable public works clients to meet their decarbonization/net zero goals.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead program activities across TRC business lines focusing on implementation of decarbonization/net zero goals.
  • Develop and track program budgets and schedules.
  • Lead development of client deliverables including transportation electrification/EV Charging implementation, EVSE technology roadmaps, energy forecasting etc.
  • Develop client presentations including data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Support new business development activities as needed.
  • Support partner development and relationship management, especially with DBE's/WBE's etc.
  • Strong client relationship management experience - demonstrated results building client trust, delivering impact, active listening and learning mindset.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sciences, or equivalent field
  • 10-15 years' experience working in Program Management, Public Works Sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Capable of maintaining a high energy level to handle a dynamic, fast-paced workload.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • PMP certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are not required for an applicant to be considered a candidate for the position.

  • Ability to develop program plans and deliverables using best practices.
  • Working knowledge, understanding of vehicle, and charging infrastructure technologies, costs, and market dynamics.

Ability to understand complex customers decision making, operations and public sector environment

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
