EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Prepares office as needed for daily routine and maintains supplies.
2. Relays any pertinent information to oncoming personnel.
3. Schedules all exams with knowledge of appropriate patient preps.
4. Oversees all jobs in the Radiology office and scheduling are completed daily.
5. Efficiently receives patients coming to radiology and directs the patients and all appropriate paperwork to the proper area/personnel. Observes patients and equipment and reports any unusual occurrences or changes.
6. Assists patients as needed and practices general safety for patients, visitors and staff at all times.
7. Complies with policy and procedures for departmental and hospital wide programs.
8. Performs all related duties as assigned by department manager, responsible and a consistent contributor to department and the hospital.
9. Effectively maintains all forms of patients records, daily statistics, requests for films/cds, reports and other related matters in a timely manner.
10. Gives patients appropriate forms, preps and dresses patients according to exam.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of medical terminology and typing skills.
2. Ability to handle scheduling of all radiology patients through physicians' offices and nursing personnel.
